A couple of weeks ago, Ovun AS delivered three 1500L navigation floats to one of its major clients in the seismic segment – destination Singapore (client name remains confidential). The complete order was produced by Ovun, with the floats rotationally molded at its facility in Åndalsnes, Norway. Each unit is equipped with a navigation box, turtle guard, and mast, and fitted with electronics produced by Ovun Molde – including battery, elbox, generator, and solar panel. Final assembly and testing took place at Åndalsnes before shipment. From concept to completion – these folats are designed, produced, and assembled in Norway.
